Under the Club’s current policy, online booking sheets may be implemented at times when ‘heavy traffic’ conditions are anticipated.
Last February, we averaged over 220 players in Saturday competitions, with three Saturdays reaching 230 players. We consider this meets the condition of ‘heavy traffic’. Sunday morning is now also recognised as a ‘heavy traffic’ condition, with members and their guests experiencing up to 9 balls in the race upon arrival.
Having identified these anticipated ‘heavy traffic’ conditions, online booking sheets will be implemented throughout the month of February on all Saturdays and Sunday mornings. February Online Booking Sheets will open 8 days prior at 3:00pm.
For example:
Saturday, 4th February: Online booking sheets will open on Friday, 27th January at 3pm.
Saturday booking sheets will commence at a time that relates to the decreasing daylight hours (at present 6am) through to 1.30pm
Sunday booking sheets will open under the same conditions outlined above however will run through until 10:00am. Juniors will have preferential rights on the tee from 9.30am until 10:00am.
The Golf Operations Team will be closely monitoring the implementation of and members’ use of booking sheets throughout February.
